Project and Task Progress Status

A quick update on project status, for efficient team communication.

The "Project and Task Progress Status" refers to a comprehensive update or report that outlines the current state of a project and its individual tasks in progress bar

Available in Odoo 15.0 Community, Enterprise and Odoo.sh

Shows the status of the project according to task stage progress

Priority based rules are applied

Project Settings In Kanban

Go to Project -> Edit -> We can See Project Form View

Enable 'Is Progress Bar'

By enabling Progress Bar in Project form view, we can see the Project status as Progress Bar

Navigate To Task Stages

Go to Configuration -> Task Stages -> We can See Task Stages Here

Enable Progress Bar

Enable Progress Bar and can set the status percentage based on the stage

We can see the Project progress by calculating the total stages in Kanban View

Here we can see the progress bar status in task kanban view with the given percentage in each stage

Priority Rules

During the configuration of the 'Progress (%)', ensure to verify the stage priority. It's important to note that you cannot assign a higher percentage to a stage if it has a higher priority compared to another stage with lower priority and a lower percentage. Attempting to do so will result in a user error.
