Restrict the out-of-stock products based on On-Hand Quantity
Restrict the out-of-stock products based on Forecast Quantity
Available in Odoo 15.0
Community, Odoo.sh and Enterprise.
Go to sales settings. Sales -> Configuration -> Settings. Under the section 'Out Of Stock Product Restriction', enables the field 'Out Of Stock Product Restriction'.
Select 'On Hand Quantity' from the selection field and save the record.
Now create a Sale order with products having less On Hand Quantity and try to confirm it.
While we're trying to confirm the order a User error is risen, so we cannot confirm the order having out-of-stock product.
Go to the Sale settings. Enables the 'Out Of Stock Product Restriction' and select 'Forcast Quantity'. Save the record.
Now create a Sale order with products having less Forcast Quantity and try to confirm it.
